Hello everyone, today I will be sharing my August Ipsy Bag with you. If you are unfamiliar with Ipsy, it is a beauty subscription box that comes every month with 5 samples in a super cute bag for just $10 a month. They have a great rewards program that is very similar to Birchbox and they offer great brands to try as well. Join me by clicking here!
So let’s get into this month’s bag.
The theme this month is “Good Vibes Only”. There were different bag options and I ended up with the ” Peace, Love, Lipstick” bag. This is one of the best Ipsy bags that I have received. You can use this for so many things and it is so cute!
The first item in my bag is the Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash Mascara. This is an amazing mascara. It provides your lashes with insane volume and lasts all day and night long. Each time that I’ve worn it, I’ve gotten compliments on how amazing my lashes look. They actually look fake!
The next item is the Balm Voyage Travel Shadow in the shade Kuwakaribisha. This is a beautiful shadow but I HATE getting samples like this. One shadow is not something that excites me in the slightest. While it is super pretty, I can’t stand finding space for individual shadows.
The next item is the Hey Honey Come Clean Propolis & Minerals Facial Scrub. This is a brand that I have received once before from Ipsy and I absolutely love it. Honey is incredibly good for the skin and they add tons of other great, skin-loving ingredients. This is a great scrub for sensitive skin because it is very gentle and soft while still removing any impurities and dead skin.
The fourth item in my bag is the Paula Dort Universal Bow Pencil in Taupe. This is a great brow pencil but I can’t really agree with the claim of “universal”. The shade is way too red for my brows (even though it’s taupe). That being said, it is a very nice pencil. It is super creamy and helps to shape while you fill.
The last item is the Aurora Pro Coverup Concealer in Pale. This is such a great concealer. It is highly pigmented and does wonders for the skin. It is super full coverage and doesn’t have any strange scents or coloring. It blends really well and makes my sensitive skin very happy.
Overall, I’m very happy with this bag. Other than the Balm eyeshadow and the brow pencil, I am thrilled with these items.
