Back to College- 10 Websites Every College Student Should Know About

Hello everyone, today I have the eighth post in my Back to College series. This one is one of the most helpful posts I can share. These are all sites that I use on a frequent basis and I hope they help you out!

So let’s get into it!

1.) RateMyProfessor.com

I mentioned this in my Tips to be Successful post the other day! This is a site that allows you to search your professors and learn what previous students thought about the teaching style, tests, homework, grading policy, etc. I absolutely love this site because it really helps you learn what the professor’s expectations are.

2.) MindSumo.com

This is one of my favorite sites to use because you can MAKE MONEY ($$$). You basically sign up with your university email address and then you can use the site.

Companies will post missions on the site and allow college students to answer the missions. These help the companies gain a better perspective on their customers and help grow their brand.

I have already made $196 from this site!!

3.) Chegg.com

This is probably one of the most well-known sites within college students. It is a site that sells and rents textbooks at great prices! They also have a section for tutoring which is super helpful for classes that you struggle with!

4.) Canva.com

Screen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.25.20 PMScreen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.25.33 PMThis site is basically a simpler version of Photoshop. It is online and completely free! I use this site to create almost all of my presentations, posters and all of my cover photos for my blog!

It is incredibly user-friendly and provides you with almost everything you need to create beautiful, professional-looking images!

5.) Momentum

Screen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.25.00 PMThis technically isn’t a site because it is a Chrome extension and I absolutely LOVE it! It is an extension that is easy to install and provides you with beautiful images from all over the world when you open a new tab.

The reason I recommend this “site” to college students is that it has a section to create a to-do list. This will help keep you organized!

6.) Quizlet.com

They also offer study tools like matching games to help reinforce the information. This is great for college because you can share the “deck” with your classmates.

7.) KeepMeOut.com

Screen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.27.18 PMScreen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.28.24 PMThis site is designed to help keep you focused during your dedicated study time. You type in sites that you want to stay away from while you study and the site will keep you away from them.

This is great for people who can’t stay away from social media sites. It is also great for using during class if you take notes on your computer!

8.) WayUp.com

Screen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.28.44 PMThis site helps college students find jobs and internships! I use this site regularly to search try and get myself employed. You can upload your resume and find local or remote jobs. They are all from smaller companies which is so fun!

I even used this site to get my current job! The site will even interact with you on social media!

9.) ClothesOn.com

Screen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.29.05 PMScreen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.29.15 PMThis is a site that I currently work for! It is an incredible site for creating any custom apparel. They offer amazing discounts and will even design the item for you!

They have tons of items that they can print on and all of them are incredibly high quality!

10.) UserTesting.com

Screen Shot 2017-07-21 at 1.29.30 PMThis site is another one that allows you to make some easy money, plus it’s really fun! You fill out surveys to see which tests you can complete. Once you are approved for a test, you will be brought to a site to test out.

They are all really simple tests that help provide feedback to company sites. You get paid $10 per test and can be cashed out by PayPal!

That concludes my 8th post in my Back to College series. I hope this post helped you discover some new sites to try out! I will see you tomorrow with another post!
