July Ipsy Unbagging

Hello everyone, today I will be sharing my July Ipsy Bag with you. If you are unfamiliar with Ipsy, it is a beauty subscription box that comes every month with 5 samples in a super cute bag for just $10 a month. They have a great rewards program that is very similar to Birchbox and they offer great brands to try as well. Join me by clicking here!

So let’s get into this month’s bag.

This month’s theme was #ipsyovereasy. Ipsy worked with guderama which is a company that I had never heard of. I don’t love the design of the bag for makeup but it is a really adorable design for a pencil pouch or travel bag. This is probably one of the higher-quality bags that I have received because it is super thick and seems really durable.

The first item in my bag is a sample of the Ofra Eyeshadow in Gold Rush. This is a super creamy and pigmented shadow that is perfect for all seasons. While I love the shadow, I absolutely hate this packaging because it doesn’t pack into my makeup bag very easily and the shadow tends to fall out of the packaging. That being said, the shadow is super high-quality. IMG_2246IMG_2247

The next item is probably my least favorite item because I don’t like ginger but it is still a really nice product. This is the Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mandarin Green Orange & Ginger Mongongo Lip Conditioner. As I mentioned, the ginger scent is a bit strong for me but this does have really nice moisturizing properties. It is also cruelty-free, paraben-free, petroleum-free, and gluten-free which I love! IMG_2248

The next item is the Ciate London Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner in Black. It is a dual ended pencil liner that has a black, creamy pencil on one end and an eyeliner brush on the other. This is labeled as a long-wearing liner and it most definitely is!IMG_2249IMG_2250

The line furthest to the right is just the pencil tip, the middle is the thicker part of the pencil and the furthest left is the liner blended out with the brush. While the skin on my hand is much different from the skin on my eyelid, it still shows just how beautifully this liner can blend out for a smokey look. IMG_2251

Next is the COUGAR Beauty Products 24 Hour Liquid Lipstick in Mulberry. This is a brand that I hadn’t heard of until I received this bag. I love the packaging of the box but the actual lipstick packaging is a bit boring for my style. IMG_2252IMG_2253

The color is a beautiful shade for any season and it lasts for hours. It is a bit drying but if you add a lip balm underneath, you won’t have nearly as much of a sticky or dry feeling. As I mentioned before, the packaging for the lipstick is a bit boring but it also feels kind of cheap to me. It doesn’t completely close and it makes a bit of noise when opened.

The product itself is really nice but I wish they had a different package. IMG_2254

The last two items I received are Tony Moly sheet masks. The first one is the Luminating Lotus mask. I have yet to try this specific one out but I adore Tony Moly skin care. The sheet masks specifically are incredibly high quality and do wonders for my skin. IMG_2256

The next one is the Skin Purifying Green Tea mask. This is one of the best masks that I’ve tried. It makes my skin feel incredibly clean and really helps me relax. It doesn’t have any strong scent and didn’t hurt my sensitive skin. IMG_2257

Honestly, the only things I loved in this bag were the Tony Moly masks. I am impressed that everything except for one item was full sized, but I didn’t love those items. That being said, I will still continue my subscription to Ipsy and I can’t wait to see what next month’s bag brings! If you’d like to join me click here and subscribe. You won’t be disappointed.
