Hello everyone, today I have another Honest Review (YAY). This is one that I am incredibly excited for because it is a brand that I have been loving for quite some time, Eva Naturals. I recently reached out to them to see if they would be willing to send me some items to try out for you guys, and they said yes. I received the Arabica Coffee Scrub, Exfoliating Facial Scrub, and the Anti-Wrinkle Skin Firming Serum.
I have been using each product for about a week so I could give you my full, and honest, opinion.
So let’s get into it.
First is the Arabica Coffee Scrub. This retails for $10.40 and is made with vitamin e, shea butter, and dead sea salt. It is incredibly exfoliating and works to remove dead skin and cellulite. I used this three times this week to help get rid of all of my dead skin and to prevent razor burn during shaving. This made my skin smoother, tighter and happier after each use. Plus, it smells absolutely amazing.
Ellie Tip: use in the morning to help your mind wake up to the smell of coffee without having to add the caffeine to your body.
As you can see in the picture, the scrub seems a bit liquidy at first glance but once it is out of the jar, you are able to build up the scrubbing power by removing some of the liquid. Unfortunately, because there are coffee grounds in this, your shower will be COVERED in them. They aren’t hard to get out, just simply rinse and walk away.
Here is my verdict on this scrub:
Pros: • smells amazing • rinses cleanly • cute and simple packaging • reasonably priced • made with high-quality ingredients • leaves skin feeling soft and smooth • great for men or women Cons: • makes a mess in the shower Overall Score: 9.5/10, this is one of my all time favorite scrubs because of how well it works. It managed to exfoliate my skin without irritating it and it works hard to keep my skin healthy and smooth. I will absolutely continue to use this on a weekly basis.
The next item I had the pleasure of trying is the Exfoliating Facial Scrub. This retails for $14.20 and gave me results immediately after using it. It is made with aloe vera, salicylic acid, willow bark, and pumice. Each of these ingredients works to fight acne and blackheads, shrink pores, remove dead skin and promote healthy cellular growth. Because of its gel-like texture, it is a gentle scrub that is still capable of getting deep into the skin and clearing out all of the nasty gunk that has built up over time (icky).
As you can see in the picture below, the texture is very gelatinous and doesn’t appear to have much scrubbing power at first glance. However, the bits of pumice inside allow for a deep exfoliation and clean. Even after the first use, my skin felt softer, smoother and cleaner than it does after using some of my more expensive scrubs.
Here is my verdict on the facial scrub:
Pros: • effective results • cute and simple packaging • gentle yet powerful • made with high-quality ingredients • leaves skin feeling soft and smooth • great for men or women Cons: • you only get 2 ounces Overall Score: 9.5/10, this has quickly become a major part of my skincare regimen. I use it twice weekly which helps to keep my skin looking and feeling clean and healthy during the hot summer. It is working to clear my blemishes which helps me to get out and wear makeup less frequently. I love this stuff.
The last item I tried was the Anti-Wrinkle Skin Firming Serum. This retails for $14.20 and is also made with high-quality ingredients. It has 2.5% retinol serum which helps to combat aging and leave skin feeling bouncy and more youthful. This is a very light serum that is great for overnight wear or to put under makeup during the day. Now I can’t attest to the wrinkle-fighting power because I don’t have wrinkles. However, I am a firm beleiving in protecting skin from aging at a young age.
Here is my verdict on the serum:
Pros: • lightweight • cute and simple packaging • no overpowering smell • made with high-quality ingredients • leaves skin feeling soft and smooth • great for men or women Cons: • you only get 1 ounce (this really isn’t a big deal because a little goes a LONG way) Overall Score: 9/10, I love serums because they are very multipurpose but this one beats many of the ones I’ve tried. It helps protect your skin from so many things without weighing it down. It is reasonably priced and makes a great addition to any skincare regime.
Overall, these three products surpassed my expectations, scoring higher than most of my honest review items. They are all made with great ingredients and work wonders on the skin. I highly recommend trying these out. If you already have, be sure to let me know what you thought in the comments below!
