Hello everyone, today I have a new type of post for my blog. I will be sharing my favorite makeup items that don’t get nearly enough hype. These are products that I use almost every day and I want to share the love with you guys!
So let’s get into it!
I decided to start off with eye products because that is what I start with when I do my makeup.
The first item is this palette from Lagure Minerals. This is a brand that I found through reviewing products on Amazon. This is one of the best palettes I have used because of the incredibly high pigment and super wearable colors. I find myself grabbing this palette almost on the daily simply because of how beautiful the colors are.
The lighter colors are a lot less pigmented on my skin because I’m currently pale af but the darker ones are stunning. My personal favorite color is the one that I’ve hit pan on because it is the best base color for any eye look.
The next item is the Coastal Scents 26 Shadow Blush Palette. It comes with a wide variety of pigmented colors. I use this palette for almost all of my colorful looks because I love the shades that are offered.
The shadows themselves are super creamy and look amazing on any skintone. My favorite color is the magenta blush on the bottom right corner that I have been using as a shadow or eyeliner. It looks amazing with any eye color in any season.
The next item is a mascara that I received in a subscription box. It is the Fabulous Flocking Lashes from The Beauty Crop. This is a waterproof mascara that is AMAZING for anyone whose lashes don’t want to stay where you put them (@me). Aside from the incredible brush and formula, the packaging is adorable.
Next is the Eyebrow Designer from Essence Cosmetics in the color brown. This is a product that I literally use EVERY SINGLE DAY. It is a really creamy formula that creates very effortless, natural-looking brows. It is a simple pencil and it comes with a brush that is actually very helpful. The best part? It is $1.99!
The next item is another Essence product. It is the Make Me Brow in the shade “browny browns”. This is a great brow gel that adds amazing volume and is great for making very fluffy-looking brows. This product is hella cheap too at just $2.99!
Once I have completed my eyes, I start on my face.
The first product is the Laura Geller Blush in the color Tropic Hues. The swatch isn’t giving the shade any justice but you can still see the beautiful glow that is gives to my skin. This is a waterproof blush (to my experience) and looks incredibly natural. It is great for when you want to make your skin look healthier and more awake.
The next item is another blush that is WAY cheaper. This is an item that does get a decent amount of hype but not nearly what it deserves. It is the E.L.F. Blush and Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia. This is an incredibly great palette for any beginner because the shade are super wearable and highly pigmented. the blush has a bit of a shimmer that adds a bit of glow to your face. The bronzer is a super warm shade that is the perfect balance between orange and grey. I love it.
Next up is another Lagure Minerals Palette. It is the Powder Contour Kit. It has amazing shades that look great on any skintone. As you can see I have been using the banana powder like crazy because it is perfect for adding some light to my skin or as an eyeshadow base. Some of the shades are a bit too orange for me but I use them as eyeshadows almost everyday.
The next item is my favorite makeup product right now. It is the Luna Cosmetics Highlighter in the color Calypso. It is the most pigmented highlighter I have ever seen and it makes my skin look incredible. Everytime I wear this, I get compliments from people I’ve never met before.
That concludes my underrated beauty items. I’d love to know what your favorite underrated beauty products are in the comments below or by tagging me on social media.
Lots of love,
